For the first time since we lived in a pre-COVID world, we have a new Pokémon TCG World Championships Promo. This 2022 Promo continues a trend we saw with previous era's Black Star Promo sets that we have yet to see during the Sword & Shield era due to in-person competition being postponed. Now, with the world largely getting back to normal, we have the release of the World Championships 2022 Promo Card. This card, illustrated by Naoki Saito, features the Galarian Starters and Pikachu with a gold World Championships 2022 stamp. Galarian Weezing, Psyduck, and Corviknight can be seen in the back. This card is SWSH296 of the SWSH Black Star Promo set. Completionists like myself will be after this one, but we are likely to see overblown prices until a while after the event.
