Pokemon GO has received the Legends Arceus tie in event and here is the New Orange Voltorb and it Shiny Status Explained in the game.

Pokemon Go has received an all-new event today to mark the release of the highly anticipated Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Pokemon Go has had quite an eventful 2022 so far, with a new Community Day and a plethora of other stuff happening in the game. Now, the Legends Arceus tie-in is going on in the game, with a number of rewards and Pokemon available for players out there.

If you have played Pokemon Go today, you might notice that there are a lot of orange-colored Voltorb in the game. This is quite surprising for many players, as the regular Voltorb is red in color. As a result, many are wondering what this Orange Voltorb really is.

Well, the Orange Voltorb is none other than the Hisuian Voltorb. The Orange Voltorb has been added to celebrate the release of Pokemon Legends Arceus, which is based in the Hisui region. Some fans are wondering if it is the shiny version of the normal Voltorb, but actually, that is not the case.

Coming to the Shiny version of Hisuian Voltorb, unfortunately, that doesn't exist in the game as of now. You will be seeing a lot of Voltorb in the game, so you can encounter a few shiny regular Voltorbs if you are lucky enough. But when it comes to the Hisuian Voltorb, there is no chance to get a shiny version of that as of now.

If you are wondering when the shiny variant of it will be added to the game, well, the developers have not announced anything as of now. There is a probability that we could be getting it in the coming days, but sometimes it takes months for shiny variants to arrive in the game.
