Get ready, McDonald's staff. A new Pokémon TCG promotion is coming this week. Just like last year's 25th Anniversary promotion, Pokémon is partnering with McDonald's not only for toys and themed products but also booster packs. These packs will be exclusively available through Happy Meals. While the scalping crisis that was prevalent during last year's promotion has come and gone with sealed product, including sealed packs of McDonald's 2021 cards, crashing in value, this is still expected to drum up interest beyond those hungry for a 1/16th pound hamburger, a packet of fries, and a bag of apples that should've been cold but was kept under the burger in the box for too long. Unlike the cards that will be included in the Halloween packs coming out next month, this is it's own numbered set. While the artwork is reused from previous cards, these have their own symbol and set numbering, meaning… well, you know. We gotta catch 'em all.
