Before writing this article, my wife and I did a… resarch. It turned out that Bastard is actually sharp hentai, which in a faithful adaptation should not go to the side of adults. So I was hoping for a slightly more polite, but nonetheless courageous adaptation of this picture story.ATTENTION!Both this entry (which has no censorship) and the series itself, despite massive censorship, are aimed at adults.Bastard tells the story of the distant future, where it came to the end of the world, and the survivors created feudal kingdoms living like people in the Middle Ages.Added to this was the magic that comes from ancient deities (most often heavy metal bands).Hence the full name of the series - Bastard - Heavy Metal Dark Fantasy Anime.Heavy metal does play here, and the main character who casts spells gives shivers down his spine, but the whole idea unfortunately hit the wall. The main character here is Dark Schneider, the all-powerful and incredibly charming wizard who was defeated by the united forces of the Metallican kingdom and reborn in the body of a child. The kingdom is on the brink of collapse as Dark Schneider's forces reorganized by his disciples attack the city gates.Desperate rulers decide to awaken a powerful mage so that he will help them defend themselves against the forces of evil.Totally pointless, but the anime is like that - Dark Schneider agrees for very selfish reasons or even whims, without any problems massacring enemies and former allies. At the same time, those who are going through (mostly of the fair sex) lick their ears or grab their ass and they change sides. There are exceptions to this (like a ninja master who didn't have to grab his ass), but you can see a rule. This is exactly how the anime works, and I have to admit it's a roller coaster ride, but unfortunately the potential has not been fully realized. You have to know that in its original, the Bastard manga was quite heavy hentai places, and I didn't expect that from the Netflix adaptation itself. However, I did not expect censorship, which made the show look caricatured in places.I've never had a problem with nudity in pop culture, and I'd even like to receive more games like Succubus or Lust from Beyond, where sex is natural, not something to be ashamed of and censored.Bastard is steeped in harsh scenes from adult movies, but they're all censored in a funny way.Sometimes you can even see the entire figure of a woman, but without the nipples, which gives us the impression of watching some production made by a prudish person. The main character regularly grabs his opponents (and allies too) by the ass and tits, even strips them against her will and does various things, but most often ends up licking the ear. It's terribly artificial and unnatural, driving on the border is the worst and the creators should decide either to make an adult production (and that's the way it is, because despite censorship, there is no subjectivity here and everything is given on a tray) or focus on the same action and make a standard anime with heavy metal in the background. And even the latter option alone would make us deal with a very good action show. And like I said, it didn't have to be done in the form of pornography - check out Castelvanie, for example, where there was no censorship and the whole anime didn't turn into a porn movie.Apart from the entire pseudo-erotic envelope, Bastard is a well-realized anime. The line and the effects are really nice, the fights (when she stops squeezing her asses) spectacular and punches on the back, especially when she starts uttering spells.Several times, even with Kasia, we wondered which spell she would use now.For this music, where during a sharp exchange of magic fire we play with really cool metal. The plot itself is so naive and stupid that at the same time it is unpredictable and has numerous twists. It really looks good.We just laughed pretty hard at the polite scenes.Bastard is indeed a bold piece and a pretty good animation, but it has been totally stripped of its claw. The creators of this series slipped (hehe) on the edge of all kinds of restrictions, so we saw a lot of annoying moments, and the series itself lost its brave part by these standards. It looked like another Devil May Cry, where we are not afraid of blood, harsh words, difficult topics and opponents torn to shreds, but we censor the ass of one of the heroines.Unfortunately, the creators have no problem with absolutely sick violence, but they have a problem with showing a naked human body. This is a problem not only of the Bastard, but also of many contemporary works of culture.Anyway, watch Starship Troopers and you will see that each of you will not even pay attention to dismembered soldiers, but you will surely be surprised by the co-ed bathroom, where both breasts and genitals are not censored. Our civilization has gone tragically wrong, harshly censoring even a bit of an ass or a tit while still having no problem with even the worst gore scene.Maybe I'll write an article about it someday?Dear Netflixs, the starting point is really very good and keep it up, but don't be afraid of showing the human body.Hi Hi there, Adix from BigBadDice :) Yes, I am the Adix;) Describing Adix does not make sense.Want to know more, watch a movie on our channel or come live and talk about games, chops and life.
