Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Dice Glitch Blasts Player Clear Off the Map

One Tiny Tina's Wonderlands player stumbled upon a post-battle glitch that caused them to be launched far outside the game's cel-shaded map.

A Tiny Tina's Wonderlands player recently uncovered a bug that sent them flying through the game's map. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is full of secrets, unique gear to collect, and a comedic story to delve into, but players have found a handful of undesirable, albeit minor, glitches in the Borderlands spin-off.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a unique framing device; the game centers on a Dungeons and Dragons-esque tabletop campaign, with players crafting their avatars within the restrictions of said game. The DM of this tabletop game is the titular Tiny Tina, whose eccentricities and spastic tendencies manifest themselves through a number of in-game events. This lets Tiny Tina's Wonderlands frequently shift into fifth gear, with its overall tone and presentation being defined by a quirky and absurd attitude. This silly approach extends to just about all aspects of the game, with many players using Tiny Tina's Wonderlands's character creator to craft creepy or weird avatars to take on their many misadventures.

Something just as wacky as the rest of the game but perhaps not as intentional was discovered by Reddit user BarnJake (via Game Rant). In a video shared on the game's subreddit, BarnJake is shown taking on a Titantooth. After quickly dispatching the monster, the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands player ground-slams the dice rather than simply walking into it, which seems to result in a glitch that sends them soaring outside of the game's map for an indefinite amount of time.

It's unclear whether this Tiny Tina's Wonderlands glitch is contained to just this specific instance or if it is a more widespread issue. It could be that the simple act of ground-slamming the dice is what caused BarnJake to fly through the sky, but the glitch could have also been the result of multiple factors working in tandem.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has some severe glitches, so players will probably find this one to be quite tame in comparison. However, many gamers prefer to avoid all manner of bugs whenever possible. Luckily, BarnJake's encounter with this glitch seems to be a one-off occurrence and, judging by the comments on the post, most fans of the game don't seem to think of the technical hiccup as a major problem. If anything, the image of this player flying outside of the map has served as fodder for a number of inside jokes and memes. Ideally, this type of glitch will be the worst that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands players will have to worry about.
